For 37 years, ending in 1991, Buck Shaffer led the Porterville High School "Marching Panther Band" from local football halftime shows to the Hollywood Christmas Parade, Disneyland, the Rose Parade (5 times) and Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The Museum pays homage to his musical accomplishments in a display that includes rare memorabilia, a life-size mannequin and video footage from days gone by.
